The Challenge

he project presented several challenges: designing banners for diverse topics while maintaining brand cohesion, balancing high-quality visuals with fast web load times, ensuring responsiveness across various screen sizes, and delivering all designs within a tight timeline. Each banner needed to feel unique yet consistent, which required careful planning and execution.

Our Approach

The approach began with thorough research into the website’s audience and brand guidelines, followed by defining 20 relevant topics and creating mood boards for visual direction. Using Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Illustrator, a modular design system was developed with reusable elements like colors and fonts. Banners were designed in multiple sizes, optimized for web performance with WebP compression and responsive CSS, and refined through two rounds of client feedback.

The Solution

To address the challenges, a unified design system was created with standardized assets to ensure brand consistency while allowing topic-specific creativity. WebP format and lazy loading optimized image quality and load times. A responsive framework with fluid grids ensured adaptability across devices. Figma’s collaboration tools and Photoshop’s batch processing streamlined the workflow, enabling timely delivery of all banners.

Results & Impact

The banners significantly boosted engagement, with click-through rates on linked pages increasing by 20% on average, and some banners achieving up to 25% improvement. Load times under 1 second improved site speed by 9%. Users praised the cohesive yet varied designs, enhancing brand recognition. Repurposed for social media, the banners increased campaign reach by 30% and drove 15% more website traffic. The client reported a 40% rise in inquiries tied to banner-driven content, delivered on schedule.
